Wow, this looks like fun. I went on the Amazon.com website and read the reviews and most consumers like this easy to use brewing method. The only advice I thought was really important was the fact that the simple brewing packages they send with the kit, seem to be for mediocre beer. The reviewers suggest that you go to the Mr. Beer website and choose a beer mix that sounds good to you. But this little system will actually make a nice home brewed beer in about 14 days. While we are not big beer drinkers in our family, this sure sounded like a lot of fun, especially for a dinner party. Hmmm…we may just have to try this.

If you have furry kids in addition to the two legged variety, they will love these Kong toys. I put peanut butter in the middle and our dog goes nuts. Sometime I put treats inside as well and she spends a lot of time trying to get them out, while chewing. This is a great gift or toy for a person who has a puppy.

Unlike the drum set from last week. This does not have ear plugs…drat! But little people really love to make noise. And even though mom’s really don’t like the noise, we often have to weigh the pros and cons. Pros…kids are happy. Con’s…mom’s nerves are tried. However seeing your kiddo happy usually out weighs the noise irritation. So I vote that these are a great deal. Usually each piece is around $15, so this is a good bargain. My bigger kids still play with this set from time to time.

This is another Flip deal and the website says that this is not the newest model, but is still a great camcorder. If you don’t already have a camcorder for your Family Film Festival project from the my earlier post, this would be a great addition to your family. The flip is so easy to use and comes with its own editing software. It is also small enough to put in a pocket or purse, so that you never miss some of lives amazing memories.

I’m not usually a big fan of deal sites, but Mompedia is a good site with mom conscious bargains and brands. This particular deal is for over-sized shopping bags. They are usually $20, but if you registrar for the site (for free) you can get the bags for $10 while the deal lasts. The great thing about these bags is the fact that it can hold so many groceries. My big problem in grocery stores is lugging tons of bags and kids out of the store, into the car, out of the car….you know what I mean. If I can whittle a shopping trip down to one or two big bags, I would be set. I wouldn’t have to make 3 trips the car with a screaming baby and hungry kids following me to and fro…hmmm, I’ll have to check this deal out for myself.
