Grandparent’s Day!

Part of our jobs as mothers is remembering holidays, family and friends birthdays, picking out the gifts and cards. Well another day that now needs to be considered is Grandparents Day. My children’s Grandparents live for Grandparents Day. Each year I plan, and rack my brain trying to think of what craft my children can make this year, but this year I decided I don’t have time for crafting, I’m just going to purchase something. Lighten my personal load a bit. Well seeing as Grandparent’s day is lurking just around the corner, I have started my shopping early. I have until September 13, to make my last and final purchases, but I decided to start early this year.

Planning a special picnic to the park, or zoo with Grandma and Grandpa, all expenses paid, is a fun family outing to celebrate your children’s Grandparents as well.
I always feel that my children are truly blessed to have such amazing, loving Grandparents. I used to think of Grandparents Day with dread, just another day to purchase a gift for, or plan for someone else. Then I realized how important my children’s relationship with their Grandparents is. So instead I now start my shopping early, use summer deals to my advantage and make purchases before September arrives.
